We went and looked at furniture yesterday with a couple of outcomes. One, we did see a corner couch a little less expensive than the IKEA EKTROP corner couch, it is a larger scale and is brown microfiber made to look like leather. We looked at individual chairs and there is nothing less than about $200/chair. Probably get a pair of the POANG chairs.
We also looked briefly at kitchen chairs for the Norman house. They had nothing that was not way to expensive. I resolved to look on Craig's List for kitchen chairs, so that they don't take such a bite out of our budget. More on that in Sitting/Eating area.
Here are the options from IKEA that we are considering. The green web chair is either new or I just did not find it before. Here are the dilemas - if EKTROP - light brown cotton cover (machine washable) or dark brown cover (dry clean only). If POANG chair - green cover/brown frame, dark brown cover/dark brown frame or green web/ light wood frame.
